Check our live dashboard (road events, outages, fires, weather alerts) and the latest local news. Police and fire publish news releases after the fact; for an emergency call 9-1-1, otherwise the RCMP non-emergency line. Checked October 1, 2026. Numbers update on their own. Our live dashboard puts road events (22 within 150 km), City road closures, power outages, wildfires and weather alerts in one place, and the news page updates every 15 minutes from local outlets, the RCMP and the City. Police operations are usually explained later in an RCMP news release. Please do not crowd a scene, and only call 9-1-1 for an emergency. ## By the numbers, live - DriveBC road events nearby 22 October 16, 2026.
