Meeting people and things to do

Are there clubs or leagues for my hobby?

Our sports page lists minor and community clubs and leagues from the City’s directory and the clubs’ own pages; for other hobbies (books, games, music, crafts) check the events calendar and the library.

Checked October 1, 2026. Numbers update on their own.

Search the sports clubs list by sport and age group; each club links to its own registration page. Non-sport groups such as book clubs, board-game and card-game nights, choirs and makers meet at the library, cafés and community halls and usually post on the events calendar.
