Start with the directory’s auto repair and auto body categories, ask for a written estimate before work starts, and for collision repairs paid by ICBC check that the shop works with ICBC.

There is no licence that rates mechanics in BC, so compare: written estimates, a warranty on parts and labour, and specialities (European, diesel, transmissions) listed on the shop’s own site.
