How do I find a family doctor or a walk-in clinic?
Register on the Health Connect Registry (online or 8-1-1) to be matched with a family doctor or nurse practitioner. Until then, use the Urgent and Primary Care Centre, walk-in clinics, or call 8-1-1 for nurse advice.

The Health Connect Registry is the provincial waitlist for a family doctor or nurse practitioner. While you wait:
- Urgent and Primary Care Centre (Northern Health) for same-day care that is not an emergency.
- Walk-in clinics in the directory; hours change often, so call first.
- 8-1-1 (HealthLink BC) for a nurse, pharmacist or dietitian, any time.
- 9-1-1 or the UHNBC emergency department for emergencies.
