When is my garbage day, and what can I recycle?

Enter your address in our garbage day tool for your next pickups. Curbside recycling follows Recycle BC’s list; glass, film plastic and foam go to depots, not your cart.

Checked October 1, 2026. Numbers update on their own.

Carts go out between 4 and 7 a.m. on collection day. Recycle BC runs the curbside program and its “What can I recycle?” search tells you where each item goes. Glass, plastic bags and film, and foam packaging are depot-only; our recycling map shows depots, bottle returns and the landfill. A stolen or broken cart is replaced through the City.
