Waste, recycling and drop-off sites serving City of Prince George residents, compiled 2026-09-30 from operators' own pages. RDFFG sites: hours, fees and materials from rdffg.ca site pages and the Tipping fees page. Foothills Boulevard Regional Landfill and the Vanway, Buckhorn, Chief Lake and Shelley transfer stations were closed on September 29 and 30, 2026 for construction. Recycle BC depots for Prince George residents not on curbside collection: Quinn Street, Vanway (per RDFFG), P.G. Recycling & Return-It Centre and Hart Return-It. Paper and packaging drop-off is suspended at the other RDFFG transfer stations, but their pages still list cardboard and mixed paper. The only Prince George household hazardous waste (flammables, pesticides) drop-off in the Product Care locator is Hart Return-It Depot. RDFFG sites do not accept paints, solvents, pesticides or fuels. Paint is also taken at P.G. Recycling and at retail paint stores in the Product Care locator (RONA Capital Building Supplies at 4150 Cowart Rd, Cloverdale Paint at 1668 Nicholson St, Dulux at 1602 Ogilvie St S, Sherwin-Williams at 3449 15th Ave); these are not listed as places. Return-It Electronics also has retail drop-offs (Best Buy, Staples, Visions) whose hours are not published there. Rural transfer stations over about 30 km away (Berman Lake, Summit Lake, Hixon, Bear Lake, McLeod Lake) are left out. Coordinates: BC Address Geocoder CIVIC_NUMBER matches (score 98-100) for city addresses. For rural RDFFG stations, where the geocoder returns only BLOCK precision, the pin in the RDFFG page's own Google Maps link is used.
