Flights
These are the nonstop routes the airlines and the airport authority listed on October 20, 2026. Seasonal routes start and stop through the year, so always check the airline before you plan. Each destination links to its route page, with flights, the drive and buses in both directions.
| Nonstop to and from | Airlines |
|---|---|
| Vancouver (YVR) | Air Canada (daily), WestJet (daily) |
| Calgary (YYC) | WestJet (daily), Central Mountain Air |
| Kelowna (YLW) | Pacific Coastal (six days a week), Central Mountain Air |
| Victoria (YYJ) | Pacific Coastal (seven days a week) |
| Edmonton (YEG) | Central Mountain Air |
| Terrace (YXT) | Central Mountain Air |
| Fort Nelson (YYE) | Central Mountain Air |
| Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR) | WestJet (seasonal) |
Northern Thunderbird Air also runs scheduled and charter flights around the Pacific Northwest, and Guardian Aerospace flies charters.
Flights to Prince George run on the same routes: the airlines above fly into YXS nonstop from each of these cities.
Las Vegas and the United States: the airport and the airlines list no nonstop flights from Prince George to Las Vegas or any other US city (checked October 20, 2026). The airlines sell those trips with a connection.
Two notes on the list. The airport’s airline card for Central Mountain Air leaves out Calgary, but the airport’s introduction and Central Mountain Air’s own Prince George page include it. The airport’s card for Pacific Coastal lists only Victoria, while its introduction says Kelowna six days a week, and Pacific Coastal’s own page lists both.
Arrivals and departures
The airport publishes a live flight board on its arrivals and departures page. We link to it instead of copying it: the airport’s terms of use don’t allow its content to be republished without written consent, and it publishes no open flight data. The airport says it doesn’t verify the board and asks you to confirm flight information with your airline. WestJet asks its passengers to check WestJet guest updates before leaving for the airport.

- Air Canada, Central Mountain Air and WestJet close check-in and bag drop 60 minutes before departure.
- Flights within Canada need one piece of valid government-issued photo ID, or two pieces of government-issued ID. The airport says interim driver’s licences are not accepted. Flights to the United States or anywhere else need a passport.
- Pack lithium batteries in your carry-on.
- Check what you can bring through screening on the CATSA website.
- In winter, check the weather dashboard and the airport weather on getting around before you leave.
The runway
The main runway, 15/33, is 3,490 m (11,450 ft) long. The airport authority’s history says the runway expansion project was confirmed in 2006, with construction proposed for 2007, to bring in larger cargo and passenger aircraft.
