10 endpoints. Base URL https://princegeorgepulse.ca/api/v1. Conventions (envelope, paging, fields, formats, limits) are on the overview. All endpoints.

GET /api/v1/fishing #

Lakes and rivers near Prince George with the fish species recorded in them.

Named waterbodies within the configured radius, from the province’s Known BC Fish Observations (all records, grouped by lake or river): sportFish (game species, listed first) and otherSpecies, how many records and the first and last year. What has been found there, not a stocking or catch report, and not the regulations: check the regional synopsis (/fishing/guide). outdoorsPage and boatLaunches come from the outdoors module when a lake matches. Refreshed weekly.

`species`	query	string	Waters where this species has been recorded (part of the name). Example: `kokanee`.
`q`	query	string	Part of the lake or river name. Example: `Cluculz`.
`sport`	query	boolean	Only waters with at least one sport fish recorded (default true).
`maxKm`	query	number	Only waters within this many km of the city centre. Example: `30`.
`near`	query	string	Sort by distance from "lat,lng" (adds `distanceKm`). Example: `53.9171,-122.7497`.
`limit`	query	integer	Items per page (default 50, max 500 unless noted). Example: `20`.
`offset`	query	integer	Items to skip. Use `links.next` to page. Example: `0`.

Hunting near Prince George: Wildlife Management Units, regulation region, official links, key dates, courses, shops and game processors.

Units within the configured radius from the province’s Wildlife Management Units (the one containing the city centre first, containsCity), plus links to the licence, LEH, CORE and regulation pages, published dates still current, notes from the regional synopsis (each with its source), hunter and firearms course providers as they publish themselves, and shops. Shooting and archery ranges and clubs near Prince George, and firearms and hunter course providers.

Ranges as each club publishes them (disciplines, access, website, social pages, contact), located with the BC Address Geocoder from the published address (coordsSource; null when the address could not be matched). courses: providers of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (PAL), the restricted course (RPAL) and CORE, with the contact details they publish.

GET /api/v1/outdoors #

Outdoor places 150 km around Prince George: provincial parks, recreation sites and trails, campgrounds, lakes, boat launches, swimming spots, waterfalls, summits, huts, ski and sledding hills.

Deduplicated places from BC Parks, Recreation Sites and Trails BC, the BC Freshwater Atlas and OpenStreetMap, each with its source and licence. Road distance and drive time are from the city centre (OSRM on OpenStreetMap data); offRoadMetres says how far the place is from the nearest road. Filter by category (provincial-parks, rec-sites, rec-trails, campgrounds, lakes, boat-launches, swimming, waterfalls, summits, huts, ski-hills, sledding, disc-golf), activity (hiking, biking, camping, fishing, ice-fishing, paddling, boating, swimming, picnics, wildlife, horse-riding, off-road, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sledding, hunting, disc-golf), season (summer, winter) and q; near sorts by distance from a point and maxKm limits it. Activities and amenities are only those the source publishes (a lake lists the activities of the sites on its shore).

`limit`	query	integer	Items per page (default 50, max 500 unless noted). Example: `20`.
`offset`	query	integer	Items to skip. Use `links.next` to page. Example: `0`.
