The regional unemployment rate is 6.2%. Many jobs need certification (trades tickets, nursing, Class 1, first aid), and the big employers post on their own sites, which we collect. Students and teens find seasonal work in retail, food service, the City’s summer programs and recreation. The WorkBC Centre on our services page offers free job search help.
